Howdy friends!
I'm posting today because I got lazy last week. So there'll be two post in one week! :)
This is going to be about me. I know, I'm so humble! Joking!
You'll learn a little bit more about me in this post. So, Enjoy! :)
[Please do not mention my name when you are telling some one about this crazy blog.
You may laugh and make fun of it, as long as it's not at my face.
Please note I am weird, strange, and sort of sarcastic.]
Like that? ^ I made it myself! On the computer!
(Don't worry, I know it's lame.)
Ok so I'm going to be 15 in a couple of months and I'm learning how to drive, SOON!
I'm 5 foot 4 with long brown hair and bluish eyes.
I live on a farm, we have 3 horse, 1 donkey, 14 cows, chickens, 3 pigs, 2 dogs, and 4 cats
.
I wear skirts now. I used to wear pants but I felt like the Lord wanted me to start wearing skirts, so I do! And yes you can, run, ride bikes, horses, and all of that. I don't care if my friends are wearing pants, Hey! So what? Who cares whether people wear skirts or pants.
I'm in 9th grade and I love school. (Yes, I'm homeschooled.) I really like grammar and creation!. My favorite about science (creation) is the evolution vs. creation debates! I would love to have a friendly debate some time!! I also like math when I get it! :)
Reading, I love it!! I like to read KBR, Nancy Drew, Patchwork Mysteries, and the Bible. Also sometimes I'll read like a history book or evidence of the Bible books for fun.(I know I'm weird.)
My favorite animals are horses, cows, and dogs! Cat's are my VERY lest favorite. Unless they are kittens then they are just my least favorite. ( I sort of like sheep too, unless they get out.)
What I like to do for fun is, read, clean, play with my horse or cow, sew, knit or organize.
I like to watch "Little House On the Prairie", "Andy Griffith", "Ken Ham", "Bananas", and pretty much all the old TV shows
Well I think that's all! :)
Bye Ya'll!!! :)
Grace
If you want to contact me, email me at askgracej@gmail.com Thanks for reading!! :)
This blog is all about our family farm! It'll have pictures, jokes and funny, true stories! A new post will (hopefully) be posted every other week. You don't want to miss any of these hilarious posts! :)

Long time no read! :)
Howdy!
Sorry that I haven't posted in a long time! It has been nuts around here lately! I'll list them off for you.
1. My grandma was in the hospital all week last week because of her appendix burst.(She's home now recovering please keep praying for her! Thanks!)
2. Since grandma was in the hospital we wanted mom to take care of her there. So with mom gone almost all week, I was the top woman of the house. Which was fine and fun until it was time to feed my family of hungry wolves;They are sooooooooooooo picky! (But they did really good!)
3. It's been STINKING COLD!!!
4.Horses water freezes all day, so I have to haul water at night. My dad and/or siblings are nice enough to do it for me in the morning. (It's not so bad but when you have a horse that plays with her water after making you think that she's still thirsty, is no fun! And a donkey that brays and brays if your late.)
4.One word.......................................... Algebra.
The final one:
5. Siblings But hey, There great! Some of the time. ;)
Yeah, that's the downfall lately but I have done some good things too!
So lets look at................................................
Johnston's Riverview News!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lately on Johnston's farm...
=====================
Reporter Grace: So what's new on the Johnston's Riverview Farm?
Farmer Grace: Well, a few weeks ago we bought a jersey. She is about to calf any time now her name is Molly Jane. Also, just today we sold two cows and my dad came home with another jersey girl. She's milking right now though she doesn't have a name yet.
RG: Are you expecting any claves this spring?
FG: No, all the cows are calving in the summer maybe late spring. Our pigs though are going to have piglets soon!
RG: Fun, do you do anything to the piglets or calves when they are born in the dead of winter? How do you prepare for that?
FG: For the piglets we set up a heat lamp so right when they are born we can put them under it. We also make sure they have a lot of hay. That way they can burrow under it to keep warm. With calves we set up a pen in the barn and when they are born we just bring them in or we pen the momma up when we think that she's close.
RG: What do you do when you don't see the baby be born and it's below zero?
FG: My dad checks on that cow right before he goes to bed and right away in the morning, but sometimes they have them when we don't know. We bring the calf in the barn, if it's still wet we blow dry it or dry it with a towel. My dad has brought a calf into the bathtub because it was so cold!
Reporter Grace: I'm Reporter Grace and thank you Farmer Grace for being with us here. And Thank you all for tuning in.
